Why would the universities have something to recommend to their students about being sugar babies, wouldn't it be the students who can provide insights to their institutions about the lengths they are going to in order to pay tuition? I am a big fan of this podcast but found today's discussion of sugar arrangements superficial and reactionary than insightful and wonder what listeners actually took away from it. I appreciate Dr Fraad's neutrality and but the truth is not all sugar arrangements are so equally negotiated, it's just that that the coercive pressure is applied by a capitalist society and greedy institutions rather than the sugar daddy. A discussion of sex work as a case study for the exploration of workers in America at large or the monetization of emotional labour would be incredibly interesting and I hope you will revisit this topic after more research.
